Looking for Escort Design 334

We are trying to locate Escort, the 41' launch built by Nevins in 1940 for William Strawbridge. Her home port was Northeast Harbor of Mount Desert Island, Maine. She was commandeered by the Navy during World War II. After the war she was purchased by Briggs Cunningham and made her home port in Southport, Connecticut.

We have a client who would like to find her for potential purchase although we have a hunch she is no longer in existence. Please contact us if you have any information. Thank you.

P.S. The manager of Pequot Yacht Club of Southport, Connecticut sent us this link to You Tube which shows a bit of Escort. The Blue Jay segment is of interest as well. Click here to access.
