Design 1574 Day Star
According to the files this boat was a modified version of White Caps, design #1254, but with reduced draft and accommodating a diesel power plant. She was built by William Healy of Miami, Florida and launched in 1960.
Construction consists of backbone and framing in white oak but interestingly she is strip planked in mahogany. This is the oldest reference to strip planking I have seen in the archives.
